What is Fun Stampers Journey?

Anyone who knows me knows I love to make stamped cards and to teach stamping and paper crafting techniques to others.  Recently I decided to sign up as a coach for a relatively new company called Fun Stampers Journey.

Fun Stampers Journey is a direct sales company for paper crafters.  We offer a full range of premium crafting supplies as well as a business opportunity for those who would like a discount on their own supplies or who want to share their crafting with others.

This month FSJ is offering 20% off many GREEN items - papers, inks, and even dies.  And you always receive a free stamp for every $50 you order.

FSJ also has a great monthly card kit called Bloom Box.  It contains a full-size stamp set, exceptionally well-done instructions that generally include a new technique or two, and all the pre-cut paper and embellishments needed to create 4 cards.  At $24.95 plus shipping and tax, as well as a 6-month commitment, I was a bit skeptical.  But I've seen two of the kits so far, and I'm really impressed by the quality of the materials and the REALLY pretty cards! I haven't taken the plunge yet, but I admit I've been a bit tempted!

First Team Meeting

I met several of my sister coaches at our Fun Stampers Journey team meeting yesterday afternoon. It was also my first ATC swap - here's what I made with my very limited supplies, since my Starter Kit and first order haven't arrived yet.

This little stamp set is called Come Fly (AT-0117).  I stamped the plane in Grape Fusion (IP-0006) and mounted it on a bit of watercolored background, then on printed card stock from the Going Places paper pack (PP-0009).  There are also a few splatters of gold Silk (IP-0096) and a tiny tag cut from another piece of the Going Places paper, just because the design seemed kind of boring.

Easter's on its way...

This is what my worktable looks like right now - I'm trying to finish up an Easter box for granddaughter Addison and her adults.  But I ate all the little chocolate eggs, so I'd better go shopping, preferably for something I don't like!

Spring Cards

My FSJ upline, Nanette Mueller, sent me this beautiful welcome card when I joined Fun Stampers Journey.  It shows off several of the brilliant, intense fusion ink colors.

Nanette also made these adorable corner pockets, made with the Decorated Sleeve Pocket die (which is on sale during the month of March) for the ladies in my class, with cute little bunny sticky notes inside.

I'm getting SO ANXIOUS for my starter kit to be here!

March Challenge - From the Heart Digital Stamps

This cute pup looks like he's have a pretty good time out in the Spring flower garden!

"Digging Dog" is the March stamp of the month at http://fromtheheartstamps.com.  Participants who joined the challenge in February received the stamp set free, but if you'd like to join, you can purchase the image or spend $10 in the From The Heart Stamps store and receive it as a FREE gift.  There are lots of adorable images in the store.  I printed this one out on white card stock and colored it simply with a few water-based markers.

I took an exciting step today, and signed up as a Fun Stampers Journey Coach.  It's going to be fun getting to use new products and meet new people.  Anyone interested in this new company, take a look at the catalog or order here: www.funstampersjourney.com/WILMAPAYNE

ATC's

I just discovered Artist Trading Cards - tiny 2-½" x 3-½" cards.  They're fun little projects that can be incorporated into full-sized cards or scrapbook layouts later.  And they're terrific ways to try out new techniques, like the hummingbird and dragonfly samples below, as well as a way to use up scraps.
